Victorian Trees on Farms Program (VToF)
Victoria
Funding of $2,000/ha (integrated environmental plantings) or up to $4,000/ha (farm forestry plantings) (GST exclusive) will be provided to successful grantees.
Minimum grant amount: $10,000 (GST exclusive) (minimum project sizes/rates produce a $10k minimum grant example).
Maximum grant amount: $80,000 (GST exclusive) (farm forestry cap)
Applicants must demonstrate co-investment/value for money; primary producer labour can count as in-kind (where allowed). Eligible applicants include freehold owners/land managers (with owner approval) in Victoria with ABN/ACN and appropriate insurance; government bodies are ineligible.

Victorian Plantations Support Program
Victoria
Funding of up to $1,000/ha (GST exclusive) for eligible projects in Victoria will be provided to successful grantees.
Minimum grant amount: $3,000 (GST exclusive).
Maximum grant amount: $200,000 (GST exclusive) per eligible SPE project.
Co-contribution: Not framed as a standalone matched-funding grant; it is supplementary funding available only to applicants already approved under the Commonwealth SPE program for a Victorian project.
Who it’s open to: Individuals and businesses (with an eligible project).
Grant Size: Round 1 funding pool is $2 million.

Awarded to Carbon Projects: POSSIBLY/INDIRECT - it supports plantation establishment, which can be aligned with ACCU plantation projects depending on method/structure, but the program itself is framed as plantation development support rather than an ACCU grant.
BushBank Private Landowner Grant
Victoria
Funding is provided to successful landowners to restore and protect native vegetation on private land in Victoria, contributing to the BushBank target of restoring 20,000+ hectares (delivered by Cassinia Environmental as the Victorian Government’s delivery partner).
Funding amount: The DEECA grant listing does not publish a fixed $/ha rate. The program funds restoration activities (e.g., seed collection, weeding, planting) and is delivered via agreements with landholders.
Minimum grant amount: Not specified on the DEECA grant listing.
Maximum grant amount: Not specified on the DEECA grant listing.
Who it’s open to: Private landowners - Eligible land must:
have a minimum 20-hectare woody restoration area (preference for larger sites)
have no existing obligations to restore the land (legislated or under an agreement)
be outside the Melbourne Strategic Assessment (MSA) area
not be subject to compulsory acquisition/a government development initiative
not have been illegally cleared
Grant Size: The broader BushBank program is $77m, with $30.9m invested in private land restoration and protection.

Carbon Farming Advice Rebate Pilot Program
Tasmania
Funding of a $1-for-$1 rebate (i.e., 50% rebate) for eligible carbon-farming advice, up to $10,000 (GST exclusive) per primary production business, will be provided to successful applicants.
Minimum grant amount: Not specified (rebate depends on eligible adviser invoices submitted).
Maximum grant amount: $10,000 (GST exclusive) per primary production business.
Co-contribution: Applicants must pay for eligible advice and then claim a rebate of $1 for every $1 spent (effectively a 50% rebate) from an Approved Adviser for advice tailored to their property/circumstances.
Who it’s open to: Tasmanian primary producers seeking eligible advice about undertaking carbon farming project(s) on their land, using Approved Advisers under the program.
Grant Size: Total pilot funding is $250,000.
Current Phase Closure: No fixed close date - the program remains open until funds are expended (not run in rounds).
Awarded to Carbon Projects: YES (enabling / preparatory) — it funds advice on accessing carbon credits, requirements (including auditing) and on-ground actions that may be eligible for carbon credits (e.g. ACCU-style projects), but it is not direct project implementation funding
